How to Retain Us
Before taking on your case, we provide a free initial consultation via telephone, in-person or e-mail to evaluate your individual circumstances and give our assessment regarding your potential case. To schedule a free immigration consultation, please call our Toll Free number 1-800-350-8698 or e-mail our office at info@telengalaw.com.
After the initial consultation, if you decide to retain Telenga & Associates, PLLC please take the following steps to establish an attorney-client relationship with us:
- Call us or contact us and let us know that you would like us to proceed with the immigration solution we have discussed in your free consultation.
- Sign our Engagement Agreement. Once you tell us that you would like us to proceed, we will mail or e-mail you our engagement agreement that will outline the service and list the attorney fees, which were discussed during your free consultation. Further, the engagement agreement will outline all your expected costs for filling fees so that you are aware of the total cost to you.
- Return the signed Engagement Agreement with your initial payment to Telenga & Associates, PLLC. After you review and sign the form, return it to our office with the retainer fee which was discussed during your free consultation. The retainer fee is just a partial payment from the total attorney cost that was quoted. This is not an additional charge.
You may mail, e-mail or fax the signed engagement agreement (Attorney-Client Agreement), along with payment of the initial attorney fee to our law office. We accept cash, personal checks, money orders, cashier's checks, MasterCard, Discover Card, Visa and Amex Credit Card. The Engagement Agreement will establish a client-attorney relationship once signed and retainer payment was made. - As soon as we receive your signed contract and process your payment of the retainer fee, an attorney will contact you and begin to work on your case. We will communicate with you throughout the entire process to keep you well informed.
- When we start working on your case, we will send you a questionnaire and checklists of all the documents that you need to assemble. You need to return the questionnaire and the documents to our office for further processing.
- We will draft, prepare and assemble all needed supporting documents for your particular case.
- Once the package is ready for submission, you will review and sign it and return it back to our office for filing with appropriate government filing fees.
- We provide ongoing monitoring and updating of your case status.
- We Provide advice and support on your interview with a Consulate or USCIS officer (if necessary).
- Once we finish the work your hired us to do, our attorney-client relationship ends. If you need any further work done in regard to a new immigration matter, we will go over the same steps as stated above to establish new attorney-client relationship.
